Snowflake Appeal

Christmas is traditionally a time for getting together with friends and spending time with loved ones. However, everyone has someone they will miss this Christmas – whether it be a family member posted abroad in the armed forces, a relative or friend who has died, or just a special person who lives a distance away and who you will be thinking of as the festivities unfold

The Trust’s Snowflake Appeal allows you to write a message for that person on a snowflake and make a donation which will help the Trust to support families affected by a serious childhood illness.  The snowflake will then be hung on the Christmas tree in Princess Square shopping centre, in Bracknell, throughout the festive period.

To make a dedication you can visit us in Princess Square from 11am - 4pm each day between Saturday 28th November and Wednesday 23rd December 2009, and fill out a snowflake in person.  Alternatively, you can take part through the website by entering your message below and making a donation through the Just Giving link..

Everyone who makes a dedication will receive a snowflake decoration to hang on their tree at home for the person they will miss.

This will be the third year the Trust has run a Snowflake Appeal. We are very grateful to Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, who own Princess Square shopping centre, for allowing us to hold the appeal in Bracknell.

The Trust currently needs to raise funds both to fulfil the growing number of practical projects we offer to support families with seriously-ill children, but also to reach our new target of a further £500,000 to complete the building and furnishing of the holiday house. Every penny and pound is truly appreciated.
