From time to time the Trust needs teams of helpers to fulfil practical projects. These projects make ideal team building exercises and leave staff with a real sense of achievement.

Some of the projects companies have helped with include:

Refurbishment of the children’s isolation rooms at Wexham Park Hospital.
Staff from Basingstoke-based Mars Drinks, Bracknell-based Boehringer Ingelheim and members of AWBS helped out with separate phases of a project to redecorate and furnish the isolation rooms on the children’s ward at Wexham Park Hospital, in Slough. The rooms are used by children for long periods of time and the Trust committed to the project, which included giving each room a new identity, comfortable furniture, a flat screen television, an x-box and a Nintendo Wii, in an effort to try and make their stays a little more bearable.
