Charitable Trusts and Foundations of all sizes are a vital source of funding for Sebastian’s Action Trust, enabling us to provide practical and emotional support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families, whilst at the same time helping us to work towards our vision that all families of seriously ill children should be able to spend quality time together, to relax, recharge and rebuild, never having to face life alone.
Our dedicated Trust team works hard to understand the interests of every trust we approach and ensures that we match our work as closely as possible to their funding priorities. We welcome both restricted grants for particular projects and unrestricted grants which enable us to determine where the funds will make the biggest difference.
We are also committed to ensuring that trusts have a good understanding of the impact of their generosity and provide individually tailored feedback reports as required. In addition we offer project visits to meet staff so that donors can get a real sense of the services we provide and the families we help.
On behalf of everyone at Sebastian’s Action Trust, may we say a heart-felt thank you to all those Trusts and Foundations whose generosity and support has made possible our work with seriously ill children and their families.
To find out more about how your organisation can support us please email our Trusts and Foundations Manager, Jane Westley on email@example.com or call 01344 622500.
Legacy donations, big or small, help us to support families of seriously-ill children. Your donation will provide respite holiday breaks, meaningful assistance and emotional, social and practical support to families at critical times. All the families we support have children with life threatening or life limiting illnesses. We care about making life easier during these difficult periods, enabling families to spend precious time together. As our service grows, so too does the need for funding and so legacy giving is crucial to the continuation of our work.
You can provide for your families and friends before leaving a gift to Sebastian’s Action Trust, we recommend you speak to your solicitor who will be able to discuss your plans with you.

Our corporate supporters
We are fortunate to receive support from a wide range of local, national and international corporate partners. Our corporate partners support us in a variety of ways, ranging from volunteering to help at our fundraising and family services events, sponsoring an event, holding fundraising activities in the office or dedicating their time to do CSR days or gardening activities at The Bluebells.
We are always keen to hear from new organisations that would like to volunteer for us. Please do call 01344 622500 to discuss how you can get involved with a great cause and really make a difference to families of seriously-ill children.
Companies can make an invaluable difference to the Trust in a variety of ways. Whether it be taking the Trust on as your charity for the year, or developing a long term charity partnership, making a one-off donation, offering expertise of providing a team of staff to help us out for a day, the opportunities are endless.
Working with the Trust can be hugely rewarding for all involved - improving staff morale and helping with team building, while demonstrating how your organisation is giving something back to the community, often generating positive publicity.
Whatever your company's interest in supporting us, we would be delighted to work with you. Together we can continue to improve the support available to families of seriously-ill children.

We are fortunate to be supported by the following organisations.
Make your gifts the most thoughtful ones friends and family receive.
Whether you are stuck for a gift idea, looking for something a little unusual or just want the money you spend to really make a difference, our Thoughtful Giving Campaign is the answer.
Our campaign offers eight gifts for you to choose from, each certain to make a difference to the families with seriously-ill children who visit The Bluebells for respite holidays or those helped through our practical support projects.
When you buy a Thoughtful Gift...
When you buy a Thoughtful Gift for a friend or relative you are in effect purchasing that item for the Trust on their behalf. The person you are buying the gift for will receive a greetings card, inside which will be the details of the item you have funded and how it will help the families we support. There will also be a small token from the Trust.
Thoughtful Gifts can be purchased all year round. They make perfect birthday presents and gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day or any other occasion.
