Shoppers dig deep for Trust's Snowflake Appeal
Bracknell shoppers helped to raise an incredible £3,200 at Christmas when they showed their support for the Trust’s third annual Snowflake Appeal.
Throughout December Bracknell residents, shoppers and long-term Trust supporters took the time to make a donation and write a special message to a loved one on a Snowflake Appeal card.
And by December 22nd when the Appeal closed, the branches of the giant tree in Bracknell’s Princess Square Shopping Centre were laden with more than 650 snowflakes each bearing a special dedication. Every person who took part in the Appeal was given a glass or silver snowflake decoration to take home for their own tree.
People also showed their support by purchasing advent calendars, Christmas cards and a selection of Christmas gifts from the Trust’s stall.
The Trust is extremely grateful to Bracknell Regeneration Partnership for allowing it to run the Snowflake Appeal for a third year, but also to all those who gave so generously.
