Fundraisers enjoy a taste of Scotland

More than 100 people enjoyed an evening of Scottish verse, food and dancing at the Trust's first Burns' Supper.

The event, held to mark the birthday of one of Scotlands best-loved poets Robert Burns, took place in the Old Gym at Wellington College,Crowthorne, on Saturday 30th January.

Guests enjoyed a series of short, light-hearted poems and speeches and a supper of Cock-a-Leekie soup, haggis, sausages, neeps and tatties, washed down with whisky and followed by raspberry cranachan and cheese.

After dinner the dancefloor was packed as people tried their footwork at Scottish Dancing.
