Pupils at the Marist Preparatory School donated more than 200 bags of clothes, bedding, toys and shoes to a bag2school initiative to raise funds for the Trust.

The scheme was the idea of pupils Rianna Monteagudo, aged 10, and Olivia Waldron, aged 11, who encouraged their fellow pupils to take part. More than 200 bags were kindly filled and donted to the scheme by Marist families and friends which raised £308 for the Trust.

Headteacher, Mrs Jenny Peachey said: "Rhianna and Olivia have shown great initiative in organising an event which has raised moeny for a very worthwhile cause without asking for cash. The girls have done an excellent job."
