Gail Porter urges women to sign up for Twilight Walk
I wish to make a special appeal to women of all ages to sign-up for a special fundraising event, which is being organised by Sebastian’s Action Trust, Sunninghill and The Children’s Trust, Tadworth on Saturday, 8th May.
The first Windsor Twilight Walk will start and finish at Thames Valley Athletics Centre in Eton, with a warm-up for walkers at 5pm, before the walk commences at 6pm. There is a choice of a seven or 13-mile walk, with routes through the Great Park and Eton, passing some of the area’s famous landmarks.
Entry costs £10 for seven miles and £20 for 13 miles. All entrants will receive a free t-shirt, goody bag and medal. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Walkers are asked to raise as much as they can in sponsorship and every penny raised will help to make a difference to children who have cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, severe disabilities or have suffered a brain injury.
The Windsor Twilight Walk is a great way to get together with family, friends and work colleagues and support two very worthy causes. I will be starting the walks, with my daughter Honey, so I do hope as many Mums and daughters as possible will join us on this special day. Please support this event and register your entry now by visiting: www.sebastiansactiontrust.org or call Sebastian’s Action Trust on 01344 622500.
Yours faithfully
Gail Porter
