Internet entrepreneur and founder of Figleaves.com, Ed Bussey has set out on an expedition to the North Pole to raise funds and awareness for theTrust's respite holiday house.

Ed who became a father in February is part of a self-supported team of three who set out from Resolute Bay in Northern Canada.

The team are likely to face temperatures as low as -60 degrees and will cross an area which is home to 80% of the world's polar bear population.

They are pulling sleds on foot and skis and hope to reach the North Pole by mid May.
