The French Horn in Sonning-on-Thames was the picturesque setting for a fundraising lunch that raised over £1500 for children’s charity, Sebastian’s Action Trust on Tuesday 10th November.
Organisers, Heather Kent, Helen Isacson and Sarah Crosbie, were joined by friends and fellow supporters of the Trust, for a champagne reception, two course lunch and a fashion show from designer specialist, Cognito of Windsor.
Michael Emmanuel, Managing Director of The French Horn, said “It was an honour to be able to host the Sebastian’s Action Trust lunch with a wonderful group of people who are all here to support such an amazing charity”.
Jane Gates OBE, CEO for Sebastian’s Action Trust said, "We are incredibly fortunate to have the continued commitment of a hardworking group of supporters who work tirelessly to organise events in support of our cause. Today we once again enjoyed a fabulous lunch and fashion show which showcased the season's latest trends from leading designers featured at Cognito in Windsor, with accessories from the delightful Kent and Kerr. More than £1500 was raised; a fantastic achievement for which we must thank our generous guests, hosts The French Horn, event organisers Heather Kent, Helen Isacson and Sarah Crosbie and our fashion guru compere, Alvin Green.
As always, we aim to walk alongside families of seriously- ill children from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. The sum raised today will help us continue to provide many forms of emotional, social and practical support within the holistic model of care we offer to families who face enormous challenges on a daily basis."
