Trust's Crystal Ball is a sparkling success

Earlier this month the Trust held a fundraising Crystal Ball in the beautiful surroundings of Great Fosters in Egham.

A champagne reception was followed by a delicious meal and entertainment included live music, contact juggling and a casino.

Some wonderful lots were snapped up in the silent auction by our very generous bidders including a holiday for six in Barbados, a round of golf and lunch with Glen Hoddle, and a 1966 England World Cup shirt signed by some of the winning team!

With so much to be proud of as our charity shortly moves into its 15th year, the event was a fitting celebration, raising in excess of £50,000, once all pledges are in. We are so grateful to all the individuals and organisations who volunteered their time, or offered sponsorship, services or prizes to help us raise such a fantastic amount. We would also like to offer our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters who joined us at the Crystal Ball, for helping to make it such a memorable, and successful, evening.

All funds raised will enable us to continue to support families of seriously-ill children, providing respite breaks and offering emotional, social and practical care, tailored to each family's needs.
